What are your hours and location?

Our hours are located on our contact page or here on google.
We are closed on all stat and civic holidays

How do I know if something’s in stock or not?

Inventory is up to date on our site. You can preorder for pick up or delivery in order to ensure it’s still in stock when you arrive. However, we can’t take orders over the phone.

Your website says something is out of stock. What can I do?

Hit the “notify me” button and we’ll send you a reply email when the item is scheduled to be back or when it arrives.

When is my online order ready for pick up?

It’ll be ready within thirty minutes after placing the order or thirty minutes after we open. You won’t receive a notice when it’s ready. Just come on in.


Shipping & Delivery

When are local delivery days?

We deliver M-F and orders are guaranteed within 2 days though we endeavour to arrive within one. The time of day fluctuates but your order will arrive between twelve and nine PM. You will receive prior notice.

What’s the delivery fee?

Local deliveries are a flat rate of $8. This small fee goes entirely towards paying our driver their fair wage.

How do I place an order for local delivery?

Delivery orders must be placed here on our website. Choose the Local Delivery option at checkout and enter your postal code to ensure you are within the delivery area.

Do you ship? What do you ship?

We ship nationally via Canada Post and all rates are set by CP. We do not ship oversized items (i.e. beds) or any frozen goods.

When will my Canada Post shipment be dispatched?

Within 24 hours, possibly more if you’re ordering between Friday and Sunday

I would like to order a Haqihana harness but how do I know what size is right for my dog?

Measure your dog’s widest part of their chest in cm. On the product page you’ll see a size guide. If you’re not sure though, call us or send an email and we’ll help you


General Questions

My dog didn’t eat the frozen food I bought! Do you accept returns?

We don’t accept returns of frozen food but please send us an email. There are a lot of reasons why a dog wouldn’t eat fresh food and we can try to help figure out what’s going on.

How do I feed raw food properly and where do I start?

Of course you can pop in anytime for a chat, but we’ve also posted two free Raw 101 webinars:

My dog has allergies/tummy issues/other health issues, how can I speak to someone about this?

You can book a consultation here or come into the shop to speak with Helen, Christine or Gillian. Best days for that are Saturdays and Mondays.
Our ability to assist you over the phone is limited.
