Free PDF: Recipes for Paw Rinses and Soaks
Every time you go outside, you put on your shoes, and your feet are protected from the dirt, chemicals, toxins, and allergens that cover the ground. But your dog doesn't have that option, and all those residues they pick up from being outside (road salt, de-icers, lawn treatments, car exhaust, pollen...) stay on their paws and fur. Then moisture gets trapped, paw pads getting cracked, and next thing you know you're dealing with bacterial or yeast infections that just won't go away.
While we're all about nutrient-dense, whole-food diets, sometimes the outside needs a little bit of extra help too, so here are three recipes for paw soaks to help your dog (and their paws) feel their best again.
These recipes can help with
- general cleaning
- allergy-prone paws
- yeasty paws
- itchy paws
- irritated and swollen paws
All three recipes are easy to make with ingredients you can find at your local drug or grocery store.
