About It Gets Better Canada

It Gets Better Canada is a registered charity and an official member of the It Gets Better Project International Affiliate Network. It began in 2010 with a viral social media campaign and evolved into a network spanning multiple media platforms capable of reaching millions of young people all over the globe.

Its mission is to empower and uplift 2SLGBTQ+ youth across Canada by connecting them to the self-told stories of hope, resilience, and determination from members of 2SLGBTQ+ communities across the world and by helping to build and connect them to community and resources both online and off.
